HIDALGO - SPANISH NOBLE - 17th CENTURY (12)


While the damask pattern of the cape of the Spanish nobleman is drying, a litlle bit more progress on the groundwork, on which this miniature will find its final resting place..

I call the stonewall segment finished with all the individual stones carefully drybrushed with different tones of yellow ochre, burnt umber, Venetian red and sepia all lightened with titaniam white oil paint..

Next to come is the painting of the deteriorated pavement...
