WIP - Roman standard bearer of the 1st Century AD (part 1)


Still very early days but here are the first 'work in progress' pictures of the Pegaso Models Roman in 90 mm.

The body armour (lorica squamata) is almost finished but still some finetuning is needed on the scales and leather edging.

A lot of the body armour area will be hidden by other parts or lies in the shade of the shield.

Although the overall fit of parts was good, I still needed to use some Magic Sculp to hide particular joints. Especially at the back of the miniatures the joint of the lion cap with the rest of the animal pelt showed quite a gap. This meant sculpting/reproducing the strands of the lion's manes.
